This is Gingerbread Square! Happy, happy Christmas quilt made with HAPPY fabric from my new line of fabric for Lecien! I LOVE this quilt!! I’ve always been a sucker for gingerbread houses….and Christmas village houses….the only problem I could see with them is that they didn’t have furniture and stuff inside when you look through the windows! I would give my right arm for a Christmas village house with real little windows, rooms, furnishings and lights………..BUT, enough about me!
We’re almost finished with the new patterns (all 23 of them, YIKES!!) so that we can release them at Spring Quilt Market in Portland, OR. We’ve proofread those puppies so many times……it’s all starting to blur together……..”Do we have the right fish diagrams on the gingerbread house quilt???” ”Did we put the floss colors for the Christmas ornaments on the Autumn’s Call pattern???” Yeah, it’s almost that bad!! hahaha!! We’ll have all the new stuff up on the website as soon as we get home from market. It’s priority #1!!
We’ll have two booths at market this time…(there was no really good way to display zippity do dah Christmas with vintage fishing and autumn)….They’ll be across the aisle from one another right across from Lecien and Lynette Anderson’s booths…#1708 and #1709. If you’re going to market be sure and come visit us!!
I’m finishing up painting the booth number signs today and Jon is making the North Pole…yes…the actual “pole”. Heidi is cutting kits for Hook, Line & Sinker, and Jonn-o is putting the finishing touches on the Gingerbread Square pattern covers. Laura and Kate are working away at shipping……………Honeybunny is asleep in the sun……….wow, wouldn’t it be nice to be a cat??? Anyway, all of us except HB are trying our best to keep everything on track and on time. I think that after market there’s going to be an uprising around here about how many patterns we can put out at one time in the future though….It could get ugly….pitchforks….torches…..you get the picture. Wish me luck! LOL!!
